How to Apply for A HouseFamilies are selected through an application process, then Habitat builds the home and sells it to the family at cost. The family pays for the home with a 0% interest mortgage. Monthly mortgage payments do not exceed 30% of the gross income.
The 2023 Open Application Period will begin Saturday, November 11, following the Application Seminar and continues through Thursday, December 14th at Noon . Applications will be available for download after Monday, November 14. A video of explaining all program requirements will be available to watch in both English and Spanish after Tuesday, November 14. It will also available to print by request. Applications must be submitted by Appointment Only by calling 501-623-5600. Applicants must be residents of Garland County and meet income requirements. |

Application will need a copy of their most recent Federal (click here to request) and State (click here to request) tax returns. Applicants who have not filed federal taxes must file a 4506-T form to request a verification of nonfiling letter (click here to download). |
