Our Faith Build is a special opportunity for area churches and faith communities to come together to make a lasting difference in the lives of a local family. Through this collaborative event, participating congregations join together to raise funds, provide volunteers, and help build a Habitat for Humanity home.
More than just a construction project, the Faith Build is a chance for churches to put their faith into action through service. Members of participating congregations work side-by-side on the construction site, building relationships with people from other faith communities while working toward a shared goal: providing a safe, affordable place for a local family to call home. The Faith Build also gives congregations a meaningful way to engage members of all ages and backgrounds in hands-on service. Whether helping on the construction site, supporting fundraising efforts, providing meals for volunteers, or encouraging others to get involved, there are many ways to participate. By working together, area faith communities demonstrate the power of collaboration, compassion, and service. Every volunteer hour, donation, and act of support helps build more than a house—it helps build hope, stability, and a stronger community. |
